Food Assistance
Education and Employment
We partner with several food banks
across Ottawa to distribute nutritious
food to low-income families and
individuals. Additionally, we provide
referrals to community kitchens, offering
meals and nutrition education to help
members prepare healthy, affordable
meals.
We offer skills training and job placement
services through programs like Canada
Summer Jobs, helping unemployed
individuals find stable employment. We
also provide information on scholarships
and grants for students from low-income
families to pursue higher education.
Housing Support
Health and Wellness
We refer individuals to temporary
shelters, providing a safe and supportive
environment, and advocate for and
assist in developing affordable housing
projects with local governments and
organizations.
We offer referrals and access to counseling
and mental health support for individuals
struggling with mental health issues and
connect individuals to free or low-cost
health clinics providing medical, dental,
and vision care.
Community Engagement
We encourage community members to
volunteer and participate in various
programs and events, and we organize
activities that promote cultural
understanding and provide recreational
opportunities for families and individuals.
